Batter Babies Review (recipe included)

4:30 AM

Kimber Cakeware creates fun and creativity to all your baking activities. There are two pretty amazing products from Kimber Cakeware; Batter Daddy and Batter Babies. I was given the pleasure of reviewing batter babies. Batter Babies are cupcake separators in which you can create cupcakes that are two colors.

I had so much fun baking cupcakes with batter babies! They fit perfectly into the cupcake pans and they stay in place without tipping over or moving out of place.  I have seen so many two toned cupcakes and wondered "how do they do that?" now I am pretty sure that batter babies had a role in those. *giggles* I love being creative when I bake, especially try out some new things but most of all have my little helper use her creativity too.

Vanilla Cupcakes (make 4 cupcakes)
I used ALL organic ingrediants when making these beauties!

2 egg whites
4 Tbs. sugar
4 Tbs. butter, melted and cooled
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup cake flour (can sub AP flour if needed)
1/2 heaping tsp. of baking powder
2 pinches of salt
3 Tbs. milk

1. Line a cupcake pan with 4 cupcake liners. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In large bowl, whisk together the egg whites and sugar. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla.

3. All at once, stir in the flour, baking powder and salt. Keep stirring until everything is smooth and well-combined. Add milk and stir until incorporated into the batter.

3. Fill each cupcake liner with batter. I love my large cookie scoop for this. If you don’t have one, simply divide the batter evenly between the 4 cupcakes.

4. Bake 12-14 minutes. The cupcake should pass the toothpick test. Cool Completely.

I absolutely LOVE batter babies and I really cannot wait to order batter daddy. I already have so many ideas for a cake! If you'd like to try batter babies you can either order online at Kimber Cakewares, Hobby Lobby, Wegmans Food Market or Pat Catman's Craft Centers.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
