Happy 5th Birthday Yani
5:56 AM
Lets start off by saying this little woman woke up to one amazing gift if I do say so myself. For starters she's been asking for this since we spent the day with her cousin at the Disney store. My fiance and I forgot bring our ID's with us which prevented us from being able to purchase it that day. So we ordered it and I just put it away for a birthday gift. YAY!
Let's just say she was pretty surprised when she woke up to a gift next to her bed. She ran into my bedroom asking who it was for and if she can open it. *silly girl* She was super happy to find out that is was the Merida doll that she wanted so badly from the Disney Store.
Okay so I planned yet another surprise for her and it was at her favorite restaurant Chili's and just about my entire family came which was also a surprise. We of course were the first ones there and as I expected she was very surprised. I wish I was able to get her facial expression in photo because let me tell you they were priceless.
She had an absolute blast and I have been making it a birthday tradition as would say, every year on her birthday we go to Chili's. What can I say she absolutely loves it there, which I agree this restaurant is pretty yummy and the staff are very friendly which makes it much better.
So onto the most torturous part of it all the birthday party, she wanted her theme to be Doc McStuffins and what do you know at that time there was absolutely no party package so I did everything based off the colors. I actually had an entire plan as to how I wanted everything but things don't always work out as planned; well for me anyways. I basically lived at Hobby Lobby, A.C Moore, and Joann's, I also did some shopping at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Dollar Store, Etsy, Amazon and Target. Here is what I came up with:
**Gift Table**
**Wafer Bandaids**
**Apple A Day Keeps The Doc Away**
**Yummy Cupcakes toppers by: Jenner @ Sweet Idea Creations**
I had tons and tons of inspiration from the oh so great Pinterest. LOL I had lots of fun making everything and I can't believe for the extreme lack of sleep it came out this cute. The children had an a very fun packed day which makes my lack of sleep and chaos so worth it all. Nothing like a bunch of little smiles and laughs to make everything so much better.
